My ancestors are some of the first Black people who migrated to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Canada. People from New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Carolina. Mostly loyalist, runaway slaves or free folk wanting a better quality of life. Most migrated to Otnabog (Elm Hill) and surrounding area's, Nova Scotia and Houlton Maine.

I search for lost family members and try to connect them to other family members via findagrave. Because my ancesters come from enslaved people, most of their paperwork has been lost. Many family members are finding it difficult to make the connections. Hopefully this will help others to connect the dots.❤
