I started researching my dad's side of the family January 2020. At the start, I was primarily interested in my great grandfather, John Franklin Harrison, and his involvement in the Civil War. But that lead me to researching his wife's family, Crocketts, then my grandmother's side, the Delaneys and Snidows.

Two years ago, my mom moved to a retirement home and gave me all her remaining photos and documents of her Hanger side of the family. I wanted to organize and preserve the the items, so I placed them in an archival scrapbooks. While doing that, I would research to identify individuals and places.
