Bio

Researching the history of both sides of my family.

I value the information obtained on Findagrave which is why I enjoy taking photographs at cemeteries to upload. As a result I am not usually related to them so would appreciate other people taking over management.

I always try to ensure my photos are respectful to the deceased and family and friends. I find it upsetting when it appears a volunteer has just walked past a headstone/grave and taken a quick photo at a ridiculous angle instead of taking the time and effort to do it properly. This is not a competition to see who uploads the most photos, but an opportunity to preserve history.

When you come across photos I have uploaded, and subsequently better ones are taken by another person, please let me know so I can delete mine. Issues such as shadows and reflections can be very distracting and unsightly.

I am always happy to consider suggestions, however please upload image evidence to the person's page with source/s (e.g. certificates, newspaper articles) to support your request otherwise I will ask you to refer to my profile to read this. Once you let me know this has been done I can attend to it.

Happy hunting.
