I am following in my father's and mother's footsteps by carrying on the legacy of researching our family tree. They did their research by traveling the US, going to cemeteries, genealogy repositories, and writing letters to family. I am continuing to add to what they did through online methods: researching census records, Find a Grave records, newspapers online, utilizing Ancestry.com, and other online methods to find family connections.
