My grandfather (the only one I knew) Reginald Wilbert Haynes had a family during the war (NSW BDM Marriage 1 -19871/1920 HAYNES REGINALD W RICHARDSON ELSIE A PENRITH), but after the war he managed a property for my grandparents Alfred J A and Ada Batten in Lidcombe NSW. When Alfred died, Reg stayed on and managed the property. All of Alfred's grandchildren only ever knew Reg as their grandfather. A kind and gentle man, who had served his country in both World Wars in the Army (WW1 number 6764 , WW2 number N271502) . He and his brother Henry need to be listed on this site as children of HAYNES JAMES Daniel (1939/1846 V18461939 31A JAMES MARTHA) and GUNN GLEDDEN SUSAN (8130/1863 CHARLES HARRIETT GRAFTON) When Ada sold her property in Berala NSW they moved to 11 Archibold Rd Long Jetty, where Reg died on 22 September 1974 and Ada died 10 October 1978.
