Hi! I have been trying to research my family tree for a few years now and would welcome anyone related to the following families: Doherty, McCranie (McRaney), Devenny, McCabe, Heider, Ward, Boney, Cravey, Williams, Wells, & Williamson! There's many more, but I'd love to meet all members of my family both near and far, as I am one of the youngest members and don't have much history.

I am a 3rd generation Bostonian (Boston, Massachusetts) but with family from the South starting in the late 1600's/early 1700's in Duplin County & New Bern, North Carolina. Following the McCranie family line, they then moved to Milan, Telfair, Georgia in the very early 1800's. By the early 1900's, after 1910, the McCranies moved to Plymouth, Massachusetts finally landing in Boston. Now, I've moved back down South to North Carolina for my fiancé. Boston born marrying a true Southern gentleman.

I want to learn as much as possible about my Southern heritage!!
