I am a genealogist who by the nature of the military does not live anywhere near where my ancestors are buried. I rely on and appreciate volunteers who update records and take photos of grave markers.
I want to give back to others so I will often take a few hours and walk nearby cemeteries documenting graves for others who cannot get to their loved ones graves.

I often have no more information than can be collected from the grave itself. It's my mission to GPS locate every readable headstone in the cemeteries near me.
