I've been researching my family tree since 2001. Photos I add may not be my direct relatives, but I enjoy giving those that have come before us their proper respect. I frequently travel to cemeteries in the Clinton, Gratiot, Ionia,Isabella, and Shiawassee County,Michigan areas. I enjoy locating graves of cousins I never knew lived in areas near me. It shows how intertwined we all are.

My ancestors include Coon, Zuckschwerdt, Harr, Waalk/Waack, Miller, Prosser, Crissey/Crissy, MacCoon,Ellsworth/Aylesworth, Clark,Coe, Phillips,Ellis, and Sanford on mom's side. George, Andress, Babion, Ferman(Johnsons as well),Drake,Frain, Walworth, Shepard, Dodge, Wheeler,Grant, and June on my dad's side. I'm also interested in any cousins, aunts, uncles on my family tree, not necessarily just my direct ancestors. This includes step families or half relatives. I'm descended from a few second marriages, plus adoptions (in the 1800's, not a clear paper trail). These include Dansby,Johnsons,Lewis,MacComber, and Adair.I am always willing to help in research.

The memorials I have contributed are added if I visited a cemetery & discovered that these individuals don't have a memorial already on Find A Grave. I want to make sure these individuals are never forgotten. I am so very grateful to the many volunteers who dedicate so much work in to this site. I may never travel to where my great great great grandfather, Harmon Dodge ,who died in the Civil War is buried, but I can see his gravesite on Find A Grave. Same with my ancestor Daniel Clark who died in the Revolutionary War. My goal is to help others who may not be able to travel to their loved ones or ancestors' graves.
