Happy to help where I can, only wanting to help others find ancestors. I do not wish to be disrespectful or to photograph graves if they are going to offend anyone's loved ones.
I visit cemeteries and churches wherever I go I try and take as many photographs as I can and try really hard to research the person as much as I can so I can add the inscription.
I really enjoy uncovering the older graves and recognising those who have been long laid to rest.
I am not comfortable taking photographs of recent burials or any stones that are less than 40 years old or if they have fresh flowers (unless requested by family) as I would never want to upset any living relatives.
I want to honour those that have passed have remember them by adding a photograph and their names.
I have access to many records for cemeteries and church yards around Derbyshire so if I can help in anyway I'm happy to.
Lots of my memorials are taken from inscriptions and church records so may not have a photograph, many cemeteries and churches in my area are not in use and there for not well kept, many stones are now laid flat, many are taken away due to safety reasons so nothing is there but I do try to research when I can to find those who have no stone and make a memorial for them when possible.
