If you're not related to the person memorialized, tell me why you want it and unless I'm related or were close to the person, I'll transfer to you. Please send your requests with supporting info for faster acceptance of your edit suggestions.
Everyone deserves to be remembered! My goal is to do it as accurately as possible and help someone be able to actually find their loved ones' graves.
***NOTE ABOUT MY PHOTOS - in late Aug '24, I began a project to physically locate and document the actual gravesites of all graves for a local cemetery due to the existing "full of errors" spreadsheet that is currently being identified for people to "find the specific location in the cemetery for relatives graves." It is my honor to help those who do not use FG find the graves of their loved ones in the cemetery.
Photos that I place on FG are to enable me to identify which graves I have physically verified the actual BLOCK in the cemetery. If my photo(s) has "gone to the top" over your photos, please know the purpose was not to offend my fellow gravers. An option is to rearrange the photos or if you would like me to remove my photos after the project is completed, please message me with the specific memorials and I will do so upon completion of the project.
As of Oct 26, 2024 I have personally verified approx half of the locations in the cemetery. I am making good progress and do not anticipate this to be a "forever" project. I will remove (requested) photos at project completion. Thank you for your understanding.
UPDATE: as of Nov 6, 2024 there are less than 100 graves that need to be located.
UPDATE: as of Nov 15, 2024 there are approx 30 graves that have not been able to be located. There are 415 edits to FG still pending acceptance in which the block number has been added.
UPDATE: as of Dec 14, 2024 there are approx 25 graves that have not been able to be located. There are approx 6 edits to FG still pending acceptance in which the block number has been added. If you have info on the location of any of the graves in the Riesel Cemetery with no PLOT information, please message me.
