My ancestors on my father's side came from either Ireland or Germany. Irish ancestors from many counties immigrated in late 1820s and early 1830s to the Eastern townships of Quebec in towns of Ste-Agathe, St-Sylvestre, or St-Jacques-de-Leeds. On my mothers side my ancestors came from various parts of Germany. I have been researching my ancestry for 35+ years. I currently live in Northeastern Wisconsin.
