Born in Toronto, attended University of Guelph and earned a Masters in Library Science from Western in 1971. Worked as librarian at National Library of Canada, Public Archives of Canada and retired in 2004 as chief librarian Citizenship and Immigration Canada. From being a Girl Guide leader she began the web pages on Famous Canadian Women which by 2022 had over 4,000 min biographies of Canadian Women of Achievement posted. Lives in Cochrane, Ontario with Husband. Mother of two daughters and step mother to three children. Grandma and great grandma who still loves history.
