Greetings, I was born in Montreal but grew up in the Ottawa Valley and now reside in Pakenham, Ontario. After losing our first daughter Ellie at 38 weeks I became interested in my ancestry as well as historical Pakenham, Ontario including updating content, memorials for and/or related to Pakenham Union Cemetery.

I'm a member/participant of Pregnacy & Infant Loss (PAIL) Network, Baby's Breathe Canada, and Butterfly Run Ottawa Community.

My ancestry is mainly Irish and Scottish but I also pursue my extended family's ancestry which includes France, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia.

My 2nd Great Grandfather James Patrick MURPHY immigrated to Canada abt. 1850 from Ireland to Quebec City. Son of James Murphy & Ann Kelly (Carlow or Kildare but yet to be determined)
