In the years that I've been doing this I've gained a lot more appreciation for cemeteries. As a connection between living and dead, a way to remember what's been lost. I consider myself to be a bit of an amateur historian. I see cemeteries as important historical sites. in some cases its the only evidence that a particular person ever existed. I came to this site to be a part of that. To document history and to help people connect to their past and ancestry in ways they might not be able to otherwise. I use a lower quality camera because I'm very attached to that camera and it's the only functional camera I have (and I dont like using my phone for that) the photos come out clear and legible just with faded colors.
