Whilst I do appreciate being contacted about use of any photo I have uploaded elsewhere, especially if you spot that I've added a flower for "My Almost Yorkshire family" (which often leads to further collaboration) the photos do fall into two categories.

1) Photos of gravestones which I have taken. Whilst I appreciate a mention, you are welcome to use these on any other site.

2) Photos of the individuals, marked with a blue pen "Natasha". I consider these to be copyrighted by myself on the basis of "skill, judgment and/or labour". If I find these have been added to another public site without my consent I will ask for them to be taken down. On the other hand, if you contact me, I will be happy to share the original photo without mark up for your own use together with detail on how I know they are who they are.

I have three main goals for FindAGrave:

1) to add quality memorials for all my direct ancestors, their children and any descendents where I can trace their burials (together with their spouses). These are My Almost Yorkshire family, named because all 32 of my 3xGGrandparents were either born in Yorkshire or lived most of their lives in the county.

2) to fully document the village churchyards close to my Mum's house in Yorkshire. So far I have completed Hessay & Nun Monkton and am part way through Moor Monkton and have a built up a reasonable knowledge of the families buried there.

3) to collect & link the Wellocks in preparation for launching a one-name study. The Wellocks descend from just two men in the Craven area. I can prove my relationship to one, and one day hope to link the two.

But somehow, despite having set some goals, I just can't help getting "distracted" whenever I pass by or through a graveyard. In these cases I generally undertake some basic research in order to help connect up the memorials.

I've started to use flowers to indicate the importance of the various memorials I visit. The orange flower is for my direct ancestors, their children and their spouses. The yellow flower is for those who were born a Wellock, married a Wellock or are descended from a Wellock. the purple flower is for other memorials that I have set up or added to in some way and hence may have some knowledge of.

I love to transfer the purple flower memorials to anyone who has the slightest connection or interest in them being grateful to see the memorial with someone who is interested in the memorial. I will also happily transfer the orange and yellow flower memorials to anyone who has a closer relationship claim than I do irrespective of the FindAGrave relationship rules.
