Hey there!


Growing up, I was always told stories about my family, not my ancestors. So I was surprised to find out how close my ancestors homes were to me, and that sparked a whole fascination with my family history!


Thanks to Find A Grave, I've been able to find and learn where they were buried. But actually going to see them and wandering through the cemetery only made me more curious. When I learn who's buried near each other, it only makes me more curious as to what more there is to find out.


I want to thank all the people who spend so much time documenting history so that it can be shared with others. I'm incredibly grateful to the people who've added my family to FG. For the ones who transferred their management to me, thank you so much! If you find a family member that I've posted, please let me know and I'll transfer their memorial to you. I understand the pride that goes into it.


I hope that everyone who reads these memorials has the chance to visit in person. It's incredible how a cemetery can connect people and their communities from that era let alone find out new family connections.
