I was born in Jacksonville FL and currently living in SWFL! I discovered Find a Grave when looking for local relatives and discovered more as I continued my search, from Jacksonville FL, to North Carolina, and beyond. There are so many family members I have been able to locate, and while it may not matter to some, I find it mesmerizing to find those who walked this Earth before I did.

Find a Grave isn't just a memorial locator; it's one of the best databases I have found for public records and photos of people my family have always talked about that I was not able to meet. I heavily appreciate my fellow contributors and the database for its free resources.
