My name is Craig H. Veenstra. I grew up in Western Michigan where so many of the Dutch immigrants settled after leaving their homeland in the Netherlands.

My paternal side (Veenstra, Buist, Kloosterman, Sipma...) came from Friesland and Groningen, and my maternal side (DeKruyter, de Kruijter, Workman, Kooi, Hasper, Remijn) came from the Zeeland area. They were House Painters and Shoe Makers and Farmers. Just good people raising their families as best they could.

I am a serious researcher of all my ancestors and always appreciate speaking with any "lost cousins" about our mutual ancestors and of course, any information, photos and most importantly - stories. Stories that have been written about their time spent is always highly valued, and so appreciated. I would also love to share what I have found over the years.
