Bio
I've always been interested in my family history, and over the last ten years, I've learned a lot through my research. It's fascinating what you can uncover about your ancestors!
During my research, I discovered Find a Grave and found it extremely helpful. It inspired me to help out others who use this site as well.
I have spent countless hours linking family members together and helping to correct or fill in missing information, not just for my own family but for many others as well. I find it frustrating when I come across memorials that are neglected or lack easily accessible information. It can also be challenging when accurate information is suggested for memorials, but managers refuse to accept it, particularly without articulating their reasoning.
I actively use reputable sources and documentation when creating or editing memorials, but some records, especially for older generations, can contain inaccuracies. I always strive to be as accurate as possible.
Find a Grave has been more of a hobby for me, so I can't contribute as frequently as some others (thank you to everyone who dedicates a lot of their time). However, I hope to continue helping as much as I can.
Thank you to everyone who has taken photos of headstones for me or has allowed me to use their photos!
If we tried to sink the past beneath our feet, be sure the future would not stand.
