I am the the grt grt grt grt grandson of the OLD JOHN RITCHIE that immigrated from Scotland in 1841 and settled in 1851 to Flos Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. I owned and operated the ancestral farmland of John, Jock and Hugh Ritchie on the 10th concession of Flos. My Ritchie ancestors are buried in the Elmvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery. I am now retired and live in the village of Elmvale. I continue to research my family and the extended family for future generations. I do my utmost to provide correct family members but mistakes can happen and I'm receptive to any queries regarding corrections.
