My father Reinhold Sommerfeld and his brother the Reverend Dr. Oscar Sommerfeld compiled and authored THE SOMMERFELD SAGA in order to record photos and data pertaining to our family. After Rein and Oscar "passed the torch" to my late sister Ruth Dempsey, she added to and then digitized, the information they had collected. I wish to add to that family legacy by being active on the Find a Grave site. But it doesn't stop with THE SOMMERFELD SAGA!

My wife (nee Eslinger) is the youngest of 12 kids, so there are many people from her side of the family whose information we also steward now that they have passed on. But there's still more! Her Mom was one of 9 kids, and her Dad was one of 12. The web keeps getting bigger and bigger!
