My name is Jonah Specht. I'm a 17 year-old genealogist based out of the Cincinnati area. My hobbies include visiting gravesites, cleaning up cemeteries, researching family histories, music, and much more. My grandpa, Dave Specht, appears in my profile picture above.

I predominately research people in the Hamilton County, Ohio area, many of whom are not relatives. My research is also focused in the Nelson County, Kentucky area. I will research anyone if they have become forgotten.

I own books of indexed protestant and catholic baptism records in Hamilton County from 1899 and far before. If I am able to find the original record using the indexes, I will use that information as well. I'm a member of the Hamilton County Genealogical Society which holds many databases and resources. I'm also in possession of an Ohio birth certificate index from 1908 through June 2020 which many of my edits come from.
