I'm from Stockholm, Sweden (in Europe), and I started my interest in genealogy when my daughter Lovisa was born. I wanted to tell her where her relatives came from, and I realized how little I actually knew myself.

I have quite recently discovered that I have relatives who emigrated to North America and FindAGrave is a very good compliment tool for family research, especially since graves in North America are usually preserved for much longer time than what is normally done in Sweden.

Furthermore, I think FindAGrave is an excellent way to share stories and photos, including simple family trees, via memorial pages, without viewers needing a paid subscription.
