I am an amateur genealogist based in the south of England. I have been researching family histories since the mid-1980s and have a surname study of Furmedge (and its variants) registered with the Guild of One Name Studies. I have always been fascinated with graveyards for themselves and also for the information they provide for family research. I aim to contribute memorials in the areas near to where I live, providing as many grave photographs as possible. For most graves I also do a small amount of research on genealogy websites to provide as complete information as possible, such as full dates of birth / death and maiden names for married women.
