I have been doing family research for more than 14 years. Initially I had an account on Find A Grave until some family information that had been entered started showing up in several other sites. I canceled that account and just used Find a Grave for research without entering information or suggesting changes/additions. Two plus years ago I again setup an account as I was finding a lot of broken, unfinished and even no memorials for various family members and their extended families. By doing so I have been able to provide helpful links for families to locate other family members. My main areas of research are my father's side (Darnall) and their extended colonial family members, My mother's side (Huston) and her amazing extended family i.e. (Marriott's and their early colonial extended families). Every day I find out more about family history and enjoy sharing this information. I have met a lot of amazing individuals here and look forward to meeting others. I am not a hoarder to see how many memorials I can manage. I just want to help others in their quest to locate and learn about family. I will adhere to the rules of Find a Grave as I hope others will. If there are any corrections/additions to the few memorials I manage please let me know.
