Too many graves and burial sites are lost to memory , findagrave through its contributors goes some way to halting this. Every time photos are shared , burial sites are recorded and transcribed it gives something back to family and researchers. I've enjoyed researching my family tree and tracing long lost relative's burial sites across the world.

I am a Welsh lady with an archaeology background , who has somehow settled on the west coast of Scotland. I live with my two beautiful sons and inflict my love of history, art and music on them and of course traipsing them through burial grounds. I'm really into finding and recording 18th Century Memento mori graves as a hobby too.
