I am a retired, as of Dec. 31, 2014, Electrical Engineer who worked for Texas Instruments (TI) headquartered in Dallas, Texas, for 20 years followed by my TI division being sold to Raytheon. I then worked for a Raytheon division headquartered in McKinney, Texas for an additional 19 1/2 years.
I perform research using FamilySearch in order to build my family tree, my wife's family tree, and those for other friends with recent deceased love ones. In the process I registered with FindaGrave to document and create memorials for some of my own family members (mother and aunt) and more recently a brother-in-law.
I strive for accuracy, conciseness, and completeness in memorials, as well as unifying the links up, down, and across memorials, where possible, by suggesting edits to existing memorials. The intent is to provide as much of a "big picture" as possible with the data available from research and within the memorials.
Being human and late in getting involved in such research, I am still fallible and may make mistakes. I respect the FindaGrave community and its mission. Any edits I suggest to memorials that have been in existence for decades with what limited information there may have been then, and with the passage of time, may be outdated, are intended to provide a more current and complete view for their descendants. Should I make a data error or suggest something without proper respect, please take me to task.
