Hi, I'm Nicole. I grew up in the Balsam community in Jackson county, nc. Some of my family has lived in this county before it was even apart of WNC and was still part of Tennessee. At this point no matter which side of Balsam Mountain I'm on I'm still home since my family on each side is basically from one side while the other is from the other side.

for any locals that might be my relative: I am the great grand daughter of Carl and Dollie(green) Parris, also Mariah(mills) and Tildon Stephens from my fathers side.

I am also the great grand daughter of Robert and Mary Alice(Norris) Miller, also Joseph and Virgie(Pressley) Wood from my mothers side.
