Hello to the nice people in this community.
Most of my research is in Maine (13th generation and wicked proud of it!) and the rest of New England.
It saddens me to find memorials floating without any family unnecessarily. I will try to help remedy that.
I only suggest edits when I have sources to back it up. If you are unable to verify the edits and feel you have differing information I will gladly share with you everything I have. No hostility needed.
I believe in quality over quantity. I have no need to gain numbers or to make claim to any pictures I post. If I come across a gravestone that has been cleaned since the memorial was created I will try to take an updated photo. Please feel free to use photos for genealogical purposes.
When I can, adding GPS points to any memorial I visit is a bit of a project for me as it has helped to tremendously cut down time in locating the site again.
And thank you to the many volunteers who have spent their precious hours taking photos. There are gravestones of ancestors I may never have been able to see without it.
