My maternal grandparents are at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Los Altos CA. I ride bike there from San Mateo to visit and sometimes take pictures. Also enjoy visiting graveyards in Colma, CA (where those underground outnumber the living about 2000 to 1). Famous in Colma include Wyatt Earp, Joe DiMaggio, Willie McCovey, William Randolph Hearst, SF concert promoter Billy Graham, and many more.
On my paternal side, my great grandparents are from the Aberdeenshire area of Scotland and the Buskerud region of Norway near Oslo.
