Hi, my name is Sherina although I go by Crickett. I found this site while trying to do research on my sister Melissa Kessinger whom was murdered on Christmas Day of 1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana Marion County and still her case goes unsolved as it seems like it's just keeps getting pushed further and further to the bottom as they are NOT even trying to do anything with her case. She had a rocky past a little bit and I'm not sure if that's why it seems like they have NEVER searched for her killer or if it's because our family is NOT a family of money. But either way she had very young kids, a mother, father, sister's, brothers , extended family and friends whom ALL LOVED her very much and want answers. The sad thing is apparently they are NOT capable of putting their selves in other people's shoes for whatever reason because I'm pretty sure if the tables were turned they would definitely want someone trying to solve their loved ones murder and find their killer. I even gave them so tips that I came across back in 2017 I believe and still NOTHING has been checked out. And they ALWAYS take her off of the unsolved cold case website and I'm not sure as to why. Because as far as I know it's still unsolved unless there is something they haven't told us yet. I'm not sure as to how they go about which cases they are gonna try and solve etc but I will go to my grave trying to solve this case or get it solved as it has hurt me the most and I was only 11 then. I have suffered a lot of extreme major depression most of my life and it has really messed with me especially around the holidays they definitely have not been the same since then. And if you happen to read this and care about people in general on my behalf my family's behalf and of course on my Beautiful sister Melissa's behalf if you got a few minutes to spare maybe send an email to Indianapolis Indiana Marion County cold case department maybe if more people call In or write in maybe they might be out to try and help finally after all these years. Please please please I'm kinda begging and I'm Thanking you in advance it would mean a lot to me more than you know. And I also have researched other family members and have found realitives I didn't know anything about so that's kinda cool too. But I'm 44 from Indianapolis Indiana and have 4 grown kids and 3 beautiful granddaughters whom are all my life. If you read this and you knew my sister Melissa Kessinger or my brother Steven Kessinger whom passed in 1988 at the age of 21 lost his life in a car accident with a semi.
