Historic home built in 1786 by Elmore Douglass and functioned as the courthouse of Sumner County, Tennessee, from 1788-1790. Later occupied by Elmore's niece, Emma Douglass, upon her 1831 marriage to William S. F. Clark. The birthplace of five Civil War soldiers.

Open for tours Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.
