My name is Patrick Gruber. I was born and raised in northwest Georgia, where I continue to live today. I am 33 years old and a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctorate. I now practice as an attorney in Cobb County, specializing in probate and guardianship matters.

My father hails from Bavaria, while my mother is a native Georgian. On her side, my family has deep roots in the American South—some of my ancestors settled in Georgia before the Revolutionary War, and many others lived throughout the southern colonies. My direct maternal line, however, traces back to early New England.

I am a descendant of passengers of the Mayflower, early settlers of Jamestown, and colonists of Dutch New Amsterdam. Among my forebears are both patriots who fought for American independence and loyalists to the Crown, including Ambrose Mills and William Mills.
