Bio
Hello Find a Grave users! My name is Daniel, thanks for stopping by my profile. I'm someone who deeply values family connections, history, and honoring those who came before us.
Since my mother's passing, I have taken on the responsibility of managing her memorial on this website as a tribute to her and everything she meant and will forever mean to me. She was and forever will be such a huge part of my life and honoring her memory in this way helps me feel close to her. I originally joined Find a Grave after she passed simply to make sure her page was cared for and accurate. Over time being part of this community has inspired me to do more. What started as something deeply personal has grown into a passion for helping preserve the memories of others including family, friends, and even strangers whose stories deserve to be remembered. I have found peace and purpose in photographing graves connecting relatives and giving back in a small but meaningful way. My mom always believed in kindness and compassion, and I try to carry that with me in every memorial I contribute to. Her spirit is at the heart of everything I do here.
Some things you should know...
- I love fulfilling photo requests and helping others connect with their loved ones through images.
- I often take photos of additional headstones, even if there hasn't been a specific request, to help expand the record for future visitors and families.
- I clean headstones when I have the proper cleaning supplies available, doing my best to help them look their best with care and respect.
- I do not need to personally know the person whose headstone I am cleaning. I do it out of respect for their memory and their final resting place.
- I believe every grave deserves attention and dignity, whether it's a well-known family marker or a forgotten name.
All of my contributions to this website come purely from the kindness of my heart, and I do not expect anything in return. If you feel moved to do something for me, a visit to my mom's memorial to leave a flower and pay your respects would mean a great deal to both me and her.
Feel free to reach out if I can help with a memorial or if you're trying to track down a relative. I'm always happy to help however I can, and you're welcome to use any of the photos I post here. If you would ever like one removed, just let me know and I will gladly respect your wishes.
