Seeking to trace the familial path from New England to Ohio I have joined Find a Grave in an effort fill significant gaps in one particular line of the family. To date I have created only one memorial - that to the first wife of my grandfather (not my grandmother but who died very young and only 3 years into the marriage.) All of her close relatives were accounted for in Find-a-Grave but her. So in combination with Ancestry, the LDS Family Tree, and a helpful mother-in-law, a death certificate from Michigan proved the final clue, which led me to make a direct inquiry to a Cemetery Association in Galion Ohio and they were able to confirm internment in a family crypt that had gone unrecognized in Find-a-grave. So now I'm hooked!
