I have family connections to Everest, Edwards, Leng,Farquhar, Gabbie and Morten. These families came from Ireland and England and settled mainly in the Canterbury New Zealand area. My great, great, great grandfathers brother Richard was one of the early settlers in Oregon on the wagon trail.
