Recently reignited my genealogy hobby after jumping on the 23&Me bandwagon. Now my sister and I are researching both sides of the family. My mother's family comes from Pikeville, Ky and Hazelton, Pa. My father's family comes from Montgomery County, Maryland and DC (via Ellis Island around the 1800s). We've confirmed the following surnames:
