I have worked on my family history on and off or many years. When I began there wasn't a lot of on-line information and I did most of my research at the Family Research Center Clayton Library in Houston. Find a Grave has progressed greatly since I first discovered it and has become a great source of information. Since retirement I have started to wander cemeteries and help add new memorials and photos.

My main family research is on the surnames Baber, Moses, Edwards, Harris, Owens and Durham. All of these families were at one time located in the northeast corner of Texas. Mainly in the towns of Monkstown, Honey Grove, Paris, Bonham and Commerce, etc.

I have also worked on my husband's family Niebur, Bruhn, Scheidt and Weiland who all lived in Evanston and the Chicago area of Illinois.
