I come from a long line of Mainers and am fascinated with the history of our state, especially the people who lived here and helped write that history. I'm a writer, mostly of outdoor adventure books, although I occasionally go "off the beaten path" and write other types of books as well.

I ended up here while writing a book about Maine's lighthouses and the incredible families that lived at the lighthouse stations throughout the years. I love research in general, and it has now become my mission to try and connect families back together on this website as I find them through my research for future generations to have the knowledge of who their ancestors were and the amazing things they did.
