My profile picture is a snapshot of my late grandfather in a boat (made by his son) and in his element: FISHING on a lake. He also loved tracing his family's roots, which back in his day meant a lot of letter writing and visiting cemeteries. Much of what I know about our family history, I owe to him.

With my uncle's blessing, I've shared some of his photo collection here. All gravestone images I've uploaded are free for noncommercial genealogical purposes. No attribution is necessary. Also, if you post a better photo, please let me know and I will remove mine.
