My journey in genealogy began with researching the Wilsons, Brays, Barclays, and Reibers, Reiburs, Reivers, mainly from western Maryland. As my interest grew, the research quickly added other surnames and branched out far and wide from western Maryland. In this time, I've learned so much about my ancestors, their struggles, and the heartbreaking losses they endured.

Early in the process, I happened upon Find a Grave. It is an invaluable resource of volunteers helping to connect us to our ancestors, to give those long departed a renewed presence, and to bring family stories forward.

I learn as I go and am always open to suggestions and collaboration.
