Find a Grave has been a great resource for my genealogy research and I enjoy visiting cemeteries to preserve the memorials of those who have passed before us. My only regret is that there are some headstones that are beyond deciphering, which leaves those people without a picture for their memorial. Or worse, no memorial at all.

Most of my family is from southwestern Indiana now (Evansville area) and that is where my focus is with visiting cemeteries. Many of my ancestors immigrated from Germany. A lot of my maternal ancestors lived in Union County (Waverly), Kentucky (Boone, Cruz, Slaton), while my paternal ancestors lived around the Jasper and Princeton, Indiana areas (Brahm, Fuhs, Wolf).
