I am on a journey to discover the past, to honor those that came before me. I have successfully traced my ancestors back to when they entered America.
As part of this journey I am trying to locate as many memorials as possible for my family. My goal is maintain these graves site as a way to honor those that have came before me. The Egyptians believed that you die twice. Once when you take your final breath, and then again the last time someone says your name. They believe your spirit lives on as long as people kept remembering you.
This is my way of keeping them alive.
