My genealogy journey started with my grandma have some curiosities about her mothers family in 2021… years and hundreds of hours later, I finalized a 500 page book with records and photographs of her family back to the 1600s Norway and following them throughout the USA and Canada for the last 120+ years that she was able to see before her passing.
Find A Grave has been instrumental as one of a dozen regularly used sites, linking family members and showing a final resting place for so many to close the chapter of their story in the book.
I will always help when I can to pay it forward by finding graves, documents, photos, anything needed for others trying to explore their own history as I've been helped by so many
