My journey into genealogy began in 2017.

The mysterious death of my paternal grandmother's sister who was only 20 and had just married a month earlier, had long fascinated me, especially since my grandmother seemed unaware of the details, especially given my grandmother's youth at the time of her sister's death and her family's apparent reluctance to discuss the matter, leading me to conduct my own research, which quickly blossomed into an obsessive exploration of my family's lineage and legacy.

My genealogical endeavors have led me to interact with several fellow family genealogists, on both maternal and paternal sides, allowing for the mutual sharing of information and vintage photographs.

I have spent the majority of my career in Ottawa, with 30 years of service in the advanced technology sector. Before that, I held the position of floral designer , I also work as an artist, focusing on portraits of wildlife and pets.
