Hello,
I'm from Germany, in the state of Hesse. In a small team, we are engaged in genealogical research. We specialize in the former Electorate of Mainz towns: Amöneburg, Anzefahr, Bauerbach, Erfurtshausen, Ginseldorf, Himmelsberg, Mardorf, Momberg, Niederklein, Rossdorf, Rüdigheim, Sindersfeld, Stadtallendorf, Stausebach, Schröck, as well as Ohmes, Ruhlkirchen, Seibelsdorf, and Vockenrod.
These towns were Catholic villages and had a special Catholic subculture, namely Catholic dress.
Between 1820 and 1900, many residents emigrated from these villages. Therefore, it is important to us to find the emigrants.
The Anzefahr town is complete and we have found around 100 people in the USA. Most of the people were found in Louisville, Kentucky.
