Bio

This is my great aunt ,sister of my grandad John Conway(1884-1974) they were born in Ballynacally County Clare ,their parents farm was called Glenlark,Furroor,Lissycasey, however I've been told their were two family farms and when they were small lived in the Ballynacally one ,though it could also be that the nearest Catholic chapel was there Mary eloped with Guard( Irish police) Tim Gleeson ,who was stationed in Kilmihil,County Clare ,where my great grandmother Honora Conway nee McNamara ran a coaching inn. There were nine children in the Conway family at Glen Lark.

As a marriage contract had been signed ,she married off her next daughter down Catherine Conway (1879-1928)who was 15 years and 6 months to a man 18 years older than her called Michael McNamara, unsure if related .

On marriage cert says she was 18,but as she was born Aug 1879 and married Feb 1895 .
