I was born, raised, and currently live in St. Louis County, Missouri. My goal here is to set out an accurate record of my lineal ancestors, and their children, for posterity on this website. I am the 5th generation of US citizens. Twenty-one known of thirty progenitors of mine are interred in the greater St. Louis, Missouri region. My immigrant ancestors left regions along tributaries of the great Rhein River in the middle 19th century, arrived in and subsequently disembarked from New Orleans, Louisiana; and settled in western Illinois, across from St. Louis, Missouri; thence into St. Louis City and eastern Missouri.
