Turned 54 and obsessed with tracing my lineages-out of nowhere ! I love camping/anything outdoors. I have a super close family unit of my wife, son and daughter and I.
Turns out my family came from Holland in the 1600's to the Brooklyn area,settled farmed,owned slaves(boo!),got rich,then the revolutionary War killed everything,rebuilt. I found evidence the lefferts helped finance George Washington's continental army(pivotal!/awesome,unbelievable!) The army that freed the 13 colonies to become America . Uhhh,wow.....
