My name is Hope Tamara Borchardt Meyer
I had the rare pleasure of knowing 3 of my great grandparents growing up, through my late teens and early twenties, when they passed (Harold in 1996, Matie in 1998 and Rose in 2002) It is a true blessing to have had these experiences.
One of my maternal aunts has been interested in genealogy for many years and has traced the maternal side of the family back to 1799). I became interested in family history through her stories and a general love for history of all sorts.
